Welcome Families
There are many opportunities at Precious Beginnings for families to be involved and a part of their child’s experience at school.
- Some of these opportunities are:
- Room Mother
- Volunteer in the classroom for a day
- Participate in the Parent Association
- Coordinate snacks for special events
- Help with costumes for Christmas Pageant
- Create a schedule for parent donations for healthy snacks
Parent's Association
Formed by families, this association creates a Parent Liaison to the Board of Directors. With this opportunity, families are actively involved in the school events, volunteer ideas or abilities, meet and form friendships, and create a community feel to the school. The Parent's Association meets once a month at homes with refreshments and siblings welcome.
Parent Involvement
Creating an open door between home and school is a priority with the staff at Precious Beginnings. Special moments like these have included reading a story, sharing a personal / professional talent, or just spending some time in the classroom.
Alumni
We like to stay in touch with our alumni, and invite them back.
Newsletter
Parents receive a regular emailed newsletter highlighting the activities and experiences from each Program. In addition, a monthly update from the Director is emailed to all parents with news of upcoming plans and events.

"For the first four months of my youngest son's time at Precious Beginnings I would tear up as I left after drop off. Not because I was missing him terribly (although of course I was), but more so because I felt so sad that I had not known about PB when my older children had gone to nursery school. To this day I believe they were cheated out of something so special, so tender and so unique. This school, the teachers and especially Ms Nancy and Mr Rick truly love what they do and it shows on a minute to minute basis, not only on the smiles on the children's faces but on all of the adults in this community too."
